Pink Bridal Shower Inspiration Board

I know some of my ladies out there just can’t get enough pink, so this inspiration board is for you. Just be sure not to drift into baby shower territory though! Keep your shower on the adult side with one of these two tricks: 1) Pair pink with metallic gold and glitter accents to add grown-up sparkle and shine, or 2) Rather than bubblegum pink, choose a hot pink or fuchsia to keep the look fresh and fun (just like you). A Love is Sweet Bridal Shower

The centerpiece for this gorgeous Love is Sweet bridal shower was a statement ombre pink wall featuring gold-rimmed vintage china and the custom tagline for the day: “Moodie in Love,” based on bride-to-be Diba’s new last name. The candy-pink wall was the perfect backdrop for a decadent sweets bar, including an ice cream cone station and plenty of soothing herbal teas to go along with. Photographer, event designer and friend of the bride Tiffany Lue-Yen recruited the help of the bridesmaids to collect and paint bottles and hang a wall of streamers for even more of a visual pop. These simple touches were inexpensive, but made a huge impact on the space. The resulting vibe is warm and invitingly homemade with a stylish vintage flair.

A Winter Wonderland Bridal Shower

When trying to decide when to host a bridal shower, winter isn’t often the first season that comes to mind. But why shouldn’t it?! December could be the perfect time of year to host a winter bridal shower since many of the bride’s childhood friends might already plan to travel to their hometown for the holidays. Which makes your shower convenient and unique. Plus, can we talk about the built-in fabulous decorating option on hand? Amazing evergreen smell? Check. Twinkle lights already hung? Check. In the cooking baking mood? You know it. The winter white palette just so happens to be perfectly bridal as well, and adding rustic accents, like pinecones and natural wood, will bring a cozy vibe to the event. Break out your woolly socks and cable-knit sweaters and spend some quality time with the ones you love.

A Modern Geometric Gold Bridal Shower

Led by bride Rachel’s sister and MOH, Ashley, this creative group of bridesmaids took DIY to the extreme with this modern geometric gold bridal shower. Rachel’s other sister Taylor, a wedding photographer herself, was happy to capture the gorgeous details that all the bridesmaids worked so hard to create. “We went spray paint happy for two days straight. It was so much work but well worth the effort,” says Taylor. Clear balloons mixed with tons of gold accents and geometric shapes kept the look modern but classic, while vibrant wildflowers added a pop of color. The hanging geometic shapes were constructed from simple drinking straws spray painted gold. The room was also dotted with air plants and succulents, some of Rachel’s favorite things. An empty coat closet was transformed into a bar, where mimosas and mojitos were served in vintage glasses that belonged to the bride’s grandmother. Even the food was DIY: Bridesmaid Scarlett prepared an amazing menu of fresh, seasonal dishes like peppercorn-crusted ahi tuna, grilled watermelon and feta skewers and prosciutto and melon bites. Pink and Gold Parisian Bridal Shower Inspiration

As the wise Donna Meagle once said, “Treat yo self.” And what better way than with a gorgeous spread of desserts at your bridal shower or bridesmaid luncheon? Nuha of 17Berkshire Bakery in Tennessee created a Parisian-inspired dessert table perfect for just such an occasion, utilizing soft pinks and creams set off by plenty of sparkling gold leaf. Fine French pastries are on display, like her raspberry macaroons, petite eclairs and gorgeous croquembouche, accented by roses and baby’s breath. A caramel drip cake and strawberry cheesecake chocolate pyramids add a whimsical yet modern touch. Bethany Veach Photography beautifully captured this dreamy dessert spread.

An Orange and Pink Styled Bridal Luncheon

After a surprise email from a local seamstress, Shaunda of E’MAGINE Weddings & Events was inspired to collaborate with her to create completely custom bridesmaid robes and dresses. Seamstress Stini and wedding planner Shaunda carried the theme of personalization through the decor and accessories, incorporating wine glass decals to customize the beverages, monogramming on the robes and each bridesmaid’s name stitched into clutches. As a serial bridesmaid (eight times and counting!), Shaunda wanted to create a luxurious inspiration shoot for a bridesmaid luncheon, the perfect way to thank your ladies for being there for you through all the craziness of wedding planning. Charlotte wedding photographer Samantha Laffoon perfectly captured all the little details of the day.

A Vineyard Bridal Shower in South Africa

A bridal shower is above all about celebrating with the women in your life, and what better place to raise a glass to a future bride than a gorgeous vineyard in South Africa? Nitidia Wine Estate was the perfect setting for this intimate shower for bride Natasha. Her friends shared their best wishes for her on her upcoming wedding day and enjoyed sparkling wine and some sweet treats. They saved a few sweet surprises for Natasha as well—especially when she cut into her candy-filled cake! (Why aren’t all cakes magically filled with candy?!) The emotion of the day shines through in the photos captured by Crazy Little Thing, from Natasha’s beaming smile to the girls’ heartfelt toasts. Cheers!
