A Love is Sweet Bridal Shower

The centerpiece for this gorgeous Love is Sweet bridal shower was a statement ombre pink wall featuring gold-rimmed vintage china and the custom tagline for the day: “Moodie in Love,” based on bride-to-be Diba’s new last name. The candy-pink wall was the perfect backdrop for a decadent sweets bar, including an ice cream cone station and plenty of soothing herbal teas to go along with. Photographer, event designer and friend of the bride Tiffany Lue-Yen recruited the help of the bridesmaids to collect and paint bottles and hang a wall of streamers for even more of a visual pop. These simple touches were inexpensive, but made a huge impact on the space. The resulting vibe is warm and invitingly homemade with a stylish vintage flair.

Emily Gilbert and Très Chic Southern Weddings dreamed up this styled shoot for the 2nd Orlando NotWedding, choosing deep colors and vintage props—like the old-fashioned clock and globe—that created a Victorian vibe. The warm color palette—perfect for a fall bridal shower—of vibrant reds, oranges and yellows is highlighted in almost every aspect of the event, from the mimosa bar to the bicolor roses. A decadent candy bar adds a modern touch with neon orange rock candy and jewel-tone macarons. It’s Southern gothic gone glam!

A Pink and Sky-Blue Candy Bar Shower

Oh hello, gorgeous candy bar! My eyes lit up at the sight of this flawlessly coordinated pink and sky-blue shower with a stunning candy display as the centerpiece, crowned by a rock candy tree. But even though the decor is totally envy-inducing, I think what I love most are the special moments photographer Robert Swapp managed to captured at this California shower—check out the epic high-five shared as two guests win Bride Bingo or the sweet shot of the bride thanking a friend for a gift. Plus, who can resist a bride who color coordinates with her shower? All she needs is a glass of pink champagne and she’d blend in seamlessly.
