This backyard bridal shower got a splash of 70s style with flower crowns and bell-sleeved dresses in the dreamy California sunshine. Bride Kelsey and her bridesmaids popped a few bottles of champagne to get the party started while each guest donned a delicate baby’s breath flower crown. An adorable bunting banner displayed pictures of the bride and groom over the years for a twist on the “guess their ages” game. Mini succulents in copper pots served as a party favor, encouraging guests to “let love grow.” Dulcet Creative was there to capture the beautiful event.

A Southern Charm Bridal Shower North of the Mason-Dixon
It may seem as though this bridal shower was set in Charleston—and that’s exactly what the hosts wanted you to think! A stunning private residence in Pennsylvania was transformed into a Southern garden party set in the Holy City, complete with plenty of sun hats and bright Lily Pulitzer dresses. Bride Caitlin and groom Jake got some outfit assistance from Trousseau Style, a wardrobe stylist who outfits couples for all the wedding events, from the bridal shower to the rehearsal dinner. (As a bride-to-be, I can tell you that finding like seven white outfits and all the accompanying accessories can be super stressful—this seems like a great service!) Caitlin and Jake took a few minutes to capture some stunning portraits with photographer Brittani Elizabeth before joining their guests for a glass of rosé in the sun.

A Secret Garden in the City Bridal Shower
Fashion blogger Elyse of Leather and Lace wanted to transport her guests to a secret garden in the city, so she asked GLDN Events to transform New York’s Gramercy Hotel into a flower-filled wonderland for her spring bridal shower. Soft pink and white streamers hanging from the ceiling gave the space a whimsical vibe and Elyse’s stunning pleated floral dress with a strappy open back completed the feeling of Alice gone through the looking glass. The white and pink anenome flower statement wall shows that a simple DIY can add instant impact. Black and white stripes on the table runner and cake added a modern touch to this festive floral shower, completing the urban garden party vibe.

A Peony Perfection Bohemian Bridal Shower
Kori and Sam’s bridal shower took full advantage of a glorious garden setting where the peonies were in full bloom. Guests were encouraged to wander through the gardens and keep an eye out for hidden raffle tickets that could be used to win gift baskets. As Kori is a partner at Styled For Love event design studio, a flower crown station was the perfect activity for this artistic bride. The guests’ flowing floral ensembles, flower crowns and the pillow lounge seating area gave this event a bohemian flair. Photographer Chelo Keys beautifully captured the joy shining out from this couple as their family and friends came together to celebrate their love.

Perfect Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Invites for Every Party Theme
Invitations can set the tone for a party, but sifting through all the options out there can be a little overwhelming. Especially when, let’s face it, a lot of the designs we see are pretty underwhelming. Ooooh, another bachelorette invitation that looks like a corset!? How truly revolutionary! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite standout bachelorette and bridal shower invitations. Some are bold and modern, some are feminine and girly and some are just all-around fun.
For a 90s Throwback Bridal Shower:
The perfect invitation for a 90s throwback bridal shower. Put N*SYNC on loop, get those episodes of Boy Meets World and Gilmore Girls streaming and dig out your glitter nail polish, girls!
For a Bridal Shower Brunch:
I’m kind of obsessed with the chic Southern charm of this invite. The contrast of the loopy “Bubbly” with the bold block lettering, plus the sophisticated navy and nectarine color palette, just makes this feel fresh and fun.
For a Bachelorette Beach Weekend:
The bold sunset colors of this invite immediately caught my attention. If a Miami Beach* bachelorette party is in your future, this invite perfectly channels laid-back seaside vibes. *Works for Key West, Palm Springs, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, etc., too.
For a Tea Party Bridal Shower:
I love this one so much, I maybe just bought it for a friend’s tea party shower in August. The unique “Love is Brewing” slogan sets it apart from other tea party invites while the bold brushstrokes of the floral pattern and the metallic gold lettering make this invite feel modern yet feminine.
For a Bachelorette Night Out:
I often complain about the prevelance of black and pink in bachelorette invites. This one is just the perfect shade of not-quite purple/not-quite pink that makes it feel girly, but like, cool-girly. And if there’s one bachelorette trend I can get behind, it’s a Bride Tribe. Partying with your ladies is what it’s all about!
This adorable succulent bridal shower invitation is my favorite for a garden party. Because let’s face it, succulents are still so it right now. We’re not growing roses in my apartment, I’ll tell you that.
For a Stock the Bar Couple Shower:
Pro tip: When you’re looking for a cute couple shower invite, don’t look in the bridal shower section. Search under general parties (birthdays, housewarming, backyard BBQs) for more gender-neutral invitations that don’t scream “bride.” I found this one under birthday and just updated the text for a couple shower!
A Cheerful Kate Spade Bridal Shower
Though Marie Antoinette has cornered the market on famous cake saying for awhile, we’ll gladly take this cheerful update from Kate Spade: “Eat cake for breakfast”…and your bridal shower, of course! Bride Sara’s Kate Spade bridal shower incorporated iconic black and white stripes with pops of neon pink and metallic gold. Showstopping details like hand-decorated cookies and macarons and vibrant arrangements of peonies and garden roses set the perfect tone for this fun-filled afternoon.

A Rustic Vintage Bridal Shower at Terrain
Terrain garden shop in Glen Mills, PA, has gained quite a reputation as the perfect wedding or party venue for the rustic vintage bride. A restored antique greenhouse and lodge are the epitome of modern farmhouse decor: raw barnwood interiors, weathered industrial furnishings, sparkling patio lights and plenty of gorgeous florals in vintage fixtures. At this rustic vintage bridal shower, white china vessels were filled with vibrant greens and white blooms for the perfect fresh bridal look. Guests enjoyed a local seasonal menu including flower pot bread, vegetable crepes and warm fruit hand pies while photographer Brittani Elizabeth was there to capture every detail.
